About Us
Founded in 2013, the UNSW Women In Engineering Society now has over 800 members - both male and female, deriving from a wide range of engineering disciplines.
We are a group of UNSW engineering students who want to provide a support network of equal opportunities for young engineers studying here at UNSW. To accomplish this, we aim to work together with engineering students and the engineering faculty to create a community that displays the importance of understanding the sense of inclusion.
In supporting our members to accomplish their goals within the engineering field, we provide services and events open to all:
- Access to available scholarships and internships
- Workplace skill based workshops
- Industry nights
- Inspirational talks
- Mentoring school workshops
- End of Year Charity Gala
- Social BBQs and Movie Nights
