On Thursday 31st of March the UNSW Women in Engineering Society in conjunction with the University of Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney, hosted the annual Inter-University cocktail night.

The Cocktail Night was a joint event for the sole purpose of bringing together societies from each University who shared the same goals of bringing networking oppurtunities and gender equality to its members in engineering. This was Women in Engineering Society's second Inter-University night.

On the night many Industry Alumni guests, such as Accenture and Cisco to name a few, took the time to talk to the students about their studies and future pathways. The night was truly successful and enjoyable, students from different universities came together to celebrate the growing diversity of women in the engineering industry. As well as this students from different universities took the opportunity to socialise and network with students from other universitites, a chance to make friends and build stronger relationships between people with a common goal.
